Irma Downing (Palmer) Stuckey

She was preceded in death by her husband Jonas William Stuckey, son John Allen Palmer, grandson Andrew Parkinson, brothers Wilbur Downing and Elwood Downing, and sisters Inabelle Fort and Nancy Clarke. She is survived by her children William Ray Palmer III and Jane Palmer Parkinson; grandson Ian Parkinson; stepchildren David Stuckey, Daniel Stuckey, Marilyn Connors and Erna Stuckey; and eight step-grandchildren.

Irma was graduated from St. Clairsville, Ohio, High School and Muskingum College. She taught in and Dublin Schools until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, with Rev. Philip Brooks, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow services at 1:30 p.m. at the Grove Cemetery, Kenton, Ohio.
