

He was a well-respected Realtor for just shy of 50 years. He felt fortunate and lucky to work alongside such wonderful colleagues. He treated all of his clients like they were close friends. He was a mentor to many, including his son, who worked alongside him.
He was an avid golfer and lover of nature. He was a proud member of the Upper Arlington Rotary. He loved playing cards with family and close friends. To his family, he was an amazing son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. His many acts of kindness and infectious laugh will live on.
He was born to the late Margaret and Herbert Welch on January 13, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio. Survived and deeply mourned by his wife of 44 years, Betty (Harrison) Welch; son, Lance (Cassie); daughter, Kristen; brother, Craig (Mary); brother-in-law, Milo (Karen); six nieces and nephews, as well as three amazing grandchildren, Sierra, Kayla and Hunter.
Family will receive friends Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH, where the funeral service will be held at Noon Saturday.
