

Jack Lee Barkhurst, of Delaware, peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021. He was born to the late Dewitt and Charlotte Barkhurst on May 14, 1931. Jack attended The Ohio State University and married his sweetheart, Patricia "Pat" Barkhurst in 1952, who precedes him in death. Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Surviving are his children, Jenny Walls, Kent Barkhurst, Kelly Barkhurst, and Karl Barkhurst; grandchildren, Brent Walls, Amber Fosler, Matthew Barkhurst, Dustin Barkhurst, Kelli Reed, Mandy Kallay, Josh Barkhurst, and Ryan Barkhurst; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as loving siblings, Kathi and Paul. Jack was an entrepreneur, forward thinker, and always wanted to learn new things. He loved to talk to people and could talk to people and could talk to anyone about anything. Jack and Pat enjoyed retirement by spending the winters in Florida with their assortment of dogs and cats. Later, he enjoyed going to grandkids and great grandkids sporting events and lessons they were taking. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends may call on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 10am-11am at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio, where the funeral service will begin at 11am promptly. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery. Due to covid, social distancing and masks are requested.
