

Jack Alan Clifford, age 66, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 31, 1948. Jack was a 1966 graduate of North High School and went on to attend Capital University. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Jack was a talented basketball player and played all through high school, college, and during his military service. He retired from Kubota Tractor Corporation after 28 years of dedicated service. Jack was an avid golfer. He was a fan of The OSU Buckeyes and New York Yankees. Most of all Jack enjoyed time with his grandchildren and spending days by the pool with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Marc Janson; mother, Patricia Clifford; and brothers, Bob (Karen) Clifford and Stanley Clifford. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Nancy Clifford; son, Michael Janson; grandchildren, Kaia Hayes and Simon Michael Janson; father, Jack Paul Clifford; brothers, Chris (Karen) Clifford, Brian Clifford, and Ron (Liz) Clifford; brothers in-law, Mike (Judy) Berman, and Larry (Paula) Berman; sister in-law, Donna (Tom) Kunc; nieces and nephews, Melissa and Jason Berman, Lori Kunc, Jennifer Scaletta, Mindy Berman-Sharp, Alyssa Wright, Damien, Sean, Kevin, and Christopher Clifford, Angela (Dave) Managhi, Karen (Todd) Wentz, Jamie and Michael Clifford, Laurie (Doug) Clifford-Cowles, Alayna (Vince) McKinney, and Lindsey Clifford; daughters in-law, Kristen Janson, and Kara Janson; special friends, Doug Millsap and Amy Clifford Millsap; friends and neighbors too numerous to list, including his Kubota family, the Morgans, and great nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 2:00PM-5:00PM followed by a time for sharing memories of Jack at 5:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio.
