He is a cherished son, brother, nephew, and friend to all who knew him. Born on March 2nd, 1995 Jack touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
He found joy in the simplest things in life like watching movies and Sunday night football with his mom, working on cars and rehabbing the rental properties with his dad and granddad, helping his grandmother with anything and everything around the house, and laughing and joking with his sister.
Jack was a natural athlete and found joy in football, basketball, lacrosse, and in the most recent years golfing with his buddies. He had a loyal group of friends and strong bonds that would withstand the test of time.
Mostly he was the kindest, funniest, and most compassionate person we’ve ever known. A beacon of light in any room, his infectious laughter and boundless energy could lift the heaviest of spirits, infusing every gathering with a sense of joy and camaraderie.
He is survived by his parents Jack Flood Jr. and Teresa Flood; sister, Kelly Flood; Grandmother, Doris Mitchell, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers if you wish, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor of the profound love Jack always held for his late grandfather Charles Mitchell.
A memorial service for Jack will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221, followed by a visitation from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
