

Jack Lee Harding, 87, went to his heavenly home February 16, 2020. Born January 5, 1933 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Warren and Addie (Lavender) Harding. Shelby High School 1950, Miami University BS Business 1954, Masters in Education 1964. United States Army 1956 - 1958. Taught High School in Carlisle, Fairfield, Norwalk and Columbus, Ohio. Retired from ODOT 1988 He loved serving the Lord in church: working with children, singing in choir, caring for other senior citizens, and being the unofficial greeter of Memorial Baptist Church. He was an active member of the Grove City Noon Lions Club. He treasured being an active participant of the Grove City Senior Center where he sang in the choir, acted in plays, as well as played cards and bowled. Consistently poured love out to everyone around him. Jack is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy; children, Carol Ewing (William), David Harding (Brenda), Timothy Harding (Tracey), and Judy Jablonski (Dan), 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Service will follow at 4 p.m. Interment and Graveside Service 11 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2020 at Blooming Grove Cemetery, Galion, Ohio.
