Jack Arthur White

Jack Arthur White, age 85, of Columbus, OH passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday morning January 19, 2014. He was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight Local 413, and served his country proudly as a Navy Sea Bee. Jack was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Local 3727. He is preceded in death by his son Greg (Schmidt) White. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marilyn (Hayhurst) White; 8 children, Mary (Steve) Lanning, Wayne (Robin), Dan (Denise Austin), Bonnie (Wayne) Buck, Mark (Paula), Tom (Linda), John (Karen) and Ron (Lorie Gurio), 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, January 24, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 9:30 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Rd. Entombment and committal will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel.
