Jack Henry Zweig, age 83, a longtime resident of Upper Arlington/Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026. Jack was born in Cleveland, OH, on February 21, 1943. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dianna Zweig, his parents, Sylvia Kanvessar (née Price) and Lou Kanvessar, and mother-in-law Carolyn Needles.
Jack is survived by his son, Timothy Zweig (Emily); step-son, Brian Ensminger (Peggy-Ann); and his three grandchildren.
Jack was a graduate of Shaker Heights High School, Lehigh University, and Case Western Reserve University, where he earned his Master’s degree. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Throughout his career, Jack worked in real estate and financial planning. He and Dianna formed their own successful Real Estate and Financial business.
Jack had a love for travel and adventure. Among his favorite memories were trips to Maui, Hawaii, as well as a memorable cross-country journey to Alaska.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The James Cancer Center at OSU.
Visitation will take place at Schoedinger Northwest, located at 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus OH 43221, on September 24, from 11:00am to 12:00pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location, Schoedinger Northwest, at 12:00pm on September 24, 2026.
Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery, located at 9 Johnstown-Alexandria Road, Johnstown, OH 43031.
