Jacqueline (Jackie) Heise

1926 - 2017

Jackie passed away in the early morning of July 13th peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was the first baby born on January 1st and her life was full of such rare and wonderful moments up to her passing. Jackie was a devoted wife and mother, loving grandmother, and a good friend. She was a reporter in the 1960's due to her skill in writing shorthand. Her love of gardening led her to receive a landscaping award from the city of Gahanna in 1989. She retired from Sperry New Holland as an Executive secretary, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Jackie was preceded in death by both her parents, William and Hazel Dohn; her 4 brothers William, Carl, Sonny and Gerald Dohn; and her loving husband of over 54 years, Robert Heise. She leaves behind her three daughters Earlene Heise, Arlene Hall and Jeneanne Heise; grandchildren Kimberly Reynolds (Bill), Tim Johnson (Susan) and Howard Heise (Vicky); great-grandchildren Brandy, Justin and Jordan Sparks, and Lydia Johnson; as well as two great-great-grandchildren Miles and Charlotte Sparks. Her departure has saddened our family and she will be missed. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 17th from 7-9pm at Schoedinger Northeast located at 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. in Gahanna. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 20th at 10am at Forest Lawn Cemetery, located at 5600 E. Broad St. in Columbus. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
