

Jacqueline H. Liberatore passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at St. Ann’s Hospital. Retired realtor and former co-owner and president of Liberatore Health Care, Inc. with offices in Arizona, Michigan, and Ohio. She was a member of the Columbus Board of Realtors and the Ohio and National Associations of Real Estate Boards. In 1954, she was named Columbus Woman of the Year for charity fundraising. She was active for many years in the American Red Cross Blood Donation program. Former board member of the Camp Fire Girls program; former member of the Junior League of Women; past Vice President and Project Chairman of the Wings of Nightingale Cottage, which was a small hospital for children to convalesce and was supported by funds from the members of the organization; former member of the Little Turtle Country Club; Cat Welfare Association for a number of years; and Buckeye Sideliners of the Ohio State University. Preceded in death by husband, Jack J. Liberatore, Sr.; and former husband, George A. Smallsreed, Jr.; parents, Ronald H. and Helen B. Brown; and cousin, Patricia A. Armstrong. Survived by daughters, Jeri S. (Bob) Hockstok, and Georgia Smallsreed (Zola Bennett); step-sons, Jack J. (Tracy) Liberatore, Jr., and Jeffrey Liberatore; grandsons, Richard (Karen) Dorman, Kevin Dorman (Michelle Ellinger), Jason (Becky) Hockstok, and William Cordova; granddaughters, Jennifer (Scott) Gorslene, and Amy Beth (Kevin) Brewer; great grandchildren, Grace, Joseph, Nikolas, Jakob, Ava and Emma Dorman, Christopher, Amber, Ashley and Andrew Hockstok, Scottie Gorslene, Gage and Anthony Brewer, Colin Ellinger, John, Andrea, Samuel and Emma Liberatore, and Alyssa and Christian Cordova; several cousins, nieces and nephews; many good friends; and beloved cat, Ginger. Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne.
