James S. "Jim" Arnold

James S. “Jim” Arnold, 80, of Circleville, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Convalarium at Indian Run in Dublin. He was born July 10, 1930 in Columbus, the son of Ira Busic and Anna Belle (McKnight) Arnold. Jim was retired from Dupont and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of Pickaway Masonic Lodge #23, and the Scottish Rite. Jim enjoyed tanning leather, woodworking, hunting, trapping and riding his motorcycle. He entertained his family and friends with his musical talent, playing piano, banjo and harmonica. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline Kay (Benner) Arnold; his sister, Dorothy Nickelson; and brother Ida Bradford Arnold. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Kathleen Arnold of Circleville; son, Bradford (Ann) Arnold; granddaughters, Allison Marie and Melanie Lynne Arnold. Masonic and Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating.
