James Allen Burk, 81, of Columbus, died Thursday, January 29, 2015. He was born April 1, 1933 in Columbus to the late Frank and Ivy (Riebel) Burk. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret in 2004 and daughter Connie Leach. He is survived by nieces Theresa Friley and Cheryl McKnight. He retired from Columbia Gas and was an avid bowler and fisherman. Friends will be received Friday, February 6, 2015 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM Interment at Kingwood Memorial Park.
