James "Jimmy" Carr

James Jay Carr, age 60 passed away at home on Thursday, October 1, 2015. Jimmy was born on February 9, 1955 to the late John Carr and Hilda Cullen. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family whether it was watching his son play basketball or the Boston Celtics, grilling out, playing cards, dancing or just having fun. He was a talker and never knew a stranger. Jimmy's motto was to live life in the moment. Preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Robert Cullen, sister, Cathy Mann and cousin, Terry Wallace. Survived by his children, Candi (Tim) Siemer and Chris (Lindsey) Carr; grandchildren, Cerynn, Camryn, Boston, Alayna, Madaylnn and Mason; sisters, Karen Cullen, Darlene Cullen, Dorothy Straits and Robin Bush; brother Robert (Sue) Cullen, the Mann's; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Mike Carpenter. Family will receive friends on 4-7 pm Friday, October 9, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, October 12, 2015 with Rev. Tim Lee officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
