James "JD" Harold Dunham
September 10, 1963 – July 24, 2022

James “JD” Dunham, age 58, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. James was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 10, 1963 to Harold “Spike” and Callie “Frances” Dunham. JD graduated from West High School in 1981. He went on to become a plumber working for Abram & Tracy Plumbing before owning his own business, Dunham Plumbing. JD was an avid billiards player and often referred to as a pool shark using tactical thinking to win a game. JD was one of the best examples of the Warren Ave Warriors. Preceded in death by his dad “Spike” and mom “Frances” Dunham; grandmother, Sarah McClain; brother, Ronald Dunham, brother-in-law, Thomas McElhinny; and his dog and best friend, Slate. Survived by his sons, James “JD” Dunham and Brian Blessing; fiancé, Kim Golden; sisters, Virginia McElhinny and Shelley Trein; 6 nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews; 3 great great nieces and nephews; and lots of friends. He was loved and respected by everyone he met. Family and friends will gather together to honors JD life on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 4-6:30 pm at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 which includes a time of sharing of stories at 6:30 pm.
