James E. Ellis

James Edward Ellis, age 80, formerly of Westerville, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012. He was born to the late James and Myrtle Ellis in New Kensington, PA on June 2, 1932. James was an a graduate of Penn State, where he received his Bachelor in Civil Engineering. He retired with over 30 years of dedicated service as a Civil Engineer for the Ohio Department of Transportation. He attended New Life Church in Gahanna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Mae Ellis. He is survived by his loving children, Susan Ellis, Virginia (Claude) Davis, William Ellis, John (Teralyn) Ellis, and Lawrence (Joy) Ellis; grandchildren, Joanna Voorhis, Haley, Zoe, and Shannon Ellis, Jason and Jared Davis. Friends may call from 4pm-7pm on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at BEECHER RD) Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held 7pm.
