James L. Foreman, Sr., age 101, of Columbus, passed away Thursday August 6, 2020. Jim was born and raised in Columbus, son of the late Pearl and Carrie Foreman. Also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores Foreman. Jim graduated from South High School before being drafted into the US Army. He proudly served his country as 1st Lieutenant during WWII. Following the war, Jim continued with the Army Reserves where he retired as a Major in 1974. Jim retired from Ohio National Bank as Vice President after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, member of Bexley Lodge F.and A.M., past recorder of the Aladdin Shrine Temple, lifelong member of Broad St. Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir and was a member of numerous civic organizations. Jim had a tremendous sense of humor, always bringing a smile to the faces of others. He greatly enjoyed music and spending time together with his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving children, Karen (Ron) Volz, Sharon (Jeff) Andrioff, and James (Allison) Foreman, Jr.; grandchildren, Melissa (Ron) Pinkham, Tamara (John) Milazzo, Jeffrey (Callie) Andrioff, James Foreman, III, and Brianna (Bryon Raver) Foreman; 6 great grandchildren; and dear family friend Marge Andrioff , as well other extended family members.
