James Arthur Huffman

James A. Huffman, 73, of Whitehall, OH passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. Jim was born on May 5, 1942 in Columbus, OH to the late Charles and Cleola (Hinton) Huffman. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Whitehall Memorial VFW Post 8794. Jim loved to volunteer with Meals on Wheels. He retired from Lennox Industries in 1993. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Huffman; son, Doug (April) Huffman; daughters, Laura (Sam) Lord, Chris (Jimmy) Puchovich, and Pam (Steve) Calhoun; step-sons, Mark (Laurie) Griffin and Matt (Vonda) Griffin; step-daughter, Sherry (Bob) Looney; brother, Kenny (Sherry) Huffman and 25 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 10:30 am - 11:30 am Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave, where a memorial service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.
