James “Jamie” Isom III, age 63, born September 8, 1953 passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016. Jamie was a US Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by father, James Isom Jr.; mother, Lauretta Roccena Modock Isom; and sister, Lula Vanessa Isom Dawolo. Jamie is survived by sister, Claudia Roccena Isom Harris; daughters, Ashley Isom and Samantha Conquest; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. John’s Church, 59 E. Mound St., Columbus. Private family inurnment will take place at St. Philip Episcopal Church Columbus.
