
James Ronald Langley, age 59, of Columbus, OH passed away Friday, October 23, 2009. He was born January 13, 1950 in Rockford, Tennessee to the late Harley and Ruth (Legg) Langley. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Larry, Robert and Pete Langley and sisters, Donna Bright and Marian Greer. Jim loved his children and grandchildren and always kept a watchful eye on them. He will be missed by his daughter Mindy Henry (Michael Blamer) and grandchildren, Dallas James Langley, Harley Nicole Langley and Shiann Nicole Henry; daughter, Sherry Lehman (Jason Lehman) and grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Jarrell and David William Lehman; son, Jimmy Henry (Sarah Jacobus) and grandchildren, Nathaniel James Jacobus, Kendal Jacobus and James Ronald Henry; also, Mindy, Sherry and Jimmy’s mother, Bettina Davis; brother, Bud Langley; sisters, Sarah Parks, Carol Praither, Jerry Elizabeth Reeder and Ruth Ann Gates; numerous nieces and nephews. Two people in Jim’s life that were very, very special to him include his girlfriend of many years, Karen Daniels and his best friend, Jerry Greer. He will also be missed by Karen’s children, Jeffrey Daniels and Carrie Daniels and Carrie’s daughter, Page. Family will receive friends 5-8 Monday, October 26, at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, 43230. Graveside service 2pm Tuesday, October 27, at Mifflin Twp. Cemetery; Pastor William Sciscoe of Church Triumphant, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions toward Jim's funeral expenses would be appreciated.
