James Patrick “Bones” McCotter, age 57, of Westerville, died at St. Ann’s hospital following a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Irene McCotter. He is survived by his children, Levi McCotter, Samantha (Mark) Spurlock, Jamie (Everett) Madden, Jessica (Allen) Adkins, James McCotter, Julie Harris, Joseth (Diedre) McCotter, and Ronnie Harris; 23 grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Greg) Cox; niece, Sharon (Curtis) Rowan; nephews, Greg (Heidi) and Matthew (Rikki Hursey) Cox; many other relatives and friends. A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Schoedinger Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Avenue. A graveside service will take place at 2pm Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street.
