

Perry, as he liked to be called by his friends, passed away June 6, 2026 at Mt. Carmel East after a brief illness.
Born in Columbus Ohio August 29, 1941, Perry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from January 16, 1961 to January 15, 1965.
Perry enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was flying model airplanes, hunting for arrowheads or being at the gun range, some of which he passed on to his kids and their children as well.
Perry was preceded in death by his father Edison Perry, mother Mildred (McClure) Ferrin, stepfather Chris Ferrin, sister Christy Ferrin and brother Jack Perry.
Perry is survived by his loving children, Tami Perry (John Lindsley), John Perry, Eddie Perry (Alice), Amy Perry (Jeff Huhn), Nick Perry (Kristen) and Natalie Krell (Brad); his cherished grandchildren, JJ Lindsley (Erica), Stephanie Lindsley, Christopher Neel, Paige Perry, Zach Perry, Caleb Perry, Logan Perry, Haley Huhn, Payton Krell, Lily Krell, Mila Krell and Jace Perry; and six great-grandchildren.
Perry is also survived by his longtime companion, Brenda Bodo, with whom he shared many happy years together traveling, attending auctions and gun shows; and his beloved dog Layla who will miss him terribly.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Perry's name to a dog rescue of your choice, the NRA or the USO.
