Born July 6, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Richard and Elizabeth Sandy Richmond.
James served his country in the US Army where he received a Purple Heart. He was retired from the USPS as a mail carrier. James was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.
Preceded in death by his parents and ex-wife Joyce Richmond.
James is survived by his wife of 18 years Wanda Richmond; son Steven (Jason) Richmond; step-sons, Steven and Tommy Myers; 3 step-grandsons; sisters, Peggy Richmond and Pat (Ken) Benne; and host of loving family and friends.
Family will receive friends, Tuesday April 25, 2017 from 2-4pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, where a Memorial Service will begin at 4pm. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
