James D. Woodruff, age 80, of Gahanna passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Jim was born on February 13, 1929 in Columbus to James and Jane Woodruff; who preceded him in death. Jim was a member of St. Elizabeth. He was a history enthusiast and enjoyed studying past military campaigns. He is survived by his brothers, Haldon Woodruff and Leo (Jane) Woodruff; nephews, Michael (Elizabeth), Paul (Michelle) and Greg (Melissa); along with niece, Teresa (Matt) Richardson. A special thanks to Michelle and Teresa for all their care for James. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 9am at Our Mother of Sorrow Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137. Father Paul A.
