James D Younger

Jim graduated from Ohio Dominican College and earned his Masters Degree from Xavier University. A quiet man with a calming smile, he was kind to all who knew him. He retired in 2005 after 34 dedicated years with The Ohio State University Police Department. He was a proud gentleman of the Army Reserves. In addition to his parents Jim is preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Bell. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 yrs, Mary; and their son, Jason. He is also survived by sister, Jesse (Lowell) Manns; nieces, Celeste Manns, Kim Bell-Johnson and Danielle Bell; nephews, John and Jimmy Bell; great nephew, Jordan Johnson. Jim is also survived by his uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces in Virginia and South Carolina, with whom he kept in touch with and visited. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church 672 S. Third St. with Fr. Kevin Lutz Celebrant. A private Entombment will follow at Union Cemetery.
