Jane Elliott Boyd

Her loving son, Craig, survives her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney C. And Vera K. Elliott, and husband, Gordon Y. Boyd.

Mrs. Boyd was a teacher and principal in the Cleveland Public Schools until 1981, when she retired.

She earned her BA degree at Ohio Wesleyan University, and her Master's degree at Case Western Reserve University. Additional graduate work was done at Baldwin Wallace University. At OWU, she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

In Cleveland, she was a member of the Women's committee of the Great Lakes Theater Festival, and an active member of the Lakewood Historical Society, where she served as membership chairman for a number of years. She was a member of the Northwest United Methodist Church in Columbus.

She will certainly be missed by all who knew her.
