She was born on July 2, 1952 in Columbus to the late William and Virginia (Berg) Steffens. Jane received her BA from The Ohio State University and was employed as special education teacher.
Jane is Preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Susan Conroy.
Jane is survived by her husband Nick Kontras; two daughters, Stephanie and Andrea Kontras; sister, Linda Seneway; and her beloved dog, Tiger.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11AM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna; with visitation an hour prior. Mark Dettmer, officiant.
