Janet Bradley, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Riverside Hospital, following a fall in her home on Monday, September 11th. She was born March 20, 1960, in Columbus Ohio to the late Earl Cobb and Evelyn (Day) Cobb. Janet was blessed with two children; infant son Christopher L. Bradley who predeceased her 1 day after his birth. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her beautiful daughter Nicole Bradley; grandson Turner Baker; sisters, Theresa Wiggin and Cynthia Belcher; and a grandson to be born late September. Janet enjoyed watching her daughter playing volleyball, basketball and softball in her younger years and traveled to many volleyball games over Nicole's 8-years of playing for St. Mathis/DeSales and private club teams. She was a devoted fan, cheering on all her teams and despite multiple health challenges, she only missed 1 game in those 8 years. Janet grew up in Columbus Ohio, but spent a lot of time in the Caldwell Ohio area with her father Earl and other family members and friends. She enjoyed shooting, hunting and fishing near her parent's home place in Caldwell and also enjoyed camping at Marengo Ohio. Janet loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and her Pittsburgh Steelers as well as watching many Nascar races. She enjoyed keeping connected to many friends and family through Facebook. Janet loved caring for her grandson, Turner, and took care of him at the home she shared with her mother up until her passing. She loved spoiling him with lots of love, hugs, and toys. She was looking forward to greeting her second grandson due to arrive later this month and had purchased many items to prepare for his arrival. Janet helped to care of her mother Evelyn at their home, along with her daughter Nicole and cousin, Connie. Janet will be missed by the numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends who loved her dearly. Janet had chosen to be an organ donor through Life Line of Ohio in the event she would be able to help sustain a life of another in her passing. The family will receive visitors offering condolences on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. at the Schoedinger North Chapel, located at 5554 Karl Road in Columbus, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. A private burial will be held for immediate family at the Kirkersville Cemetery in Kirkersville, Ohio.
