I was lucky to work with Janet over the years at Bank One and Chase.  Here warm smile and great sense of humor could always brighten your day.  I will think of Janet often and in her memory I will support the World Wildlife Fund.  I know Janet enjoyed life.  I'll miss her.

I was Janet's babysitter for several years until she and her family moved away from Elm Avenue.  The sad news reached me via the network of friends who grew up in that neighborhood.  Janet's love of animals was evident early in her life.  In honor of her lifelong passion for all creatures, I am making a donation to our local Back to the Wild which rehabilitates injured wildlife and provides educational programs to area schools.

I worked with Janet at JPMC. I worked on several project with her. Her smile never changed even when we worked late hours. She was a very positive person and always could bring laughter to a room. She will be greatly missed by her co-workers. I will being praying for you throughout the upcoming weeks. This was a shock to me and it sadden me when hearing of her passing.

Bryan & Nancy (Nancy, I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but feel like I know you because Janet always spoke so fondly of you and your family):  Janet was probably the most "fun" person I ever met.  Everything was an adventure...even something as mundane as going to lunch (especially when we "broke out" of the monster building for lunch)!  She was always smiling and thinking of others.  She (along with the other two "Musketeers": Alice and Anna) took me under their wing when I started at Bank One "way back when" and we always had a great time.  The world has lost an amazing person, but heaven has gained an amazing angel.  She will be greatly missed by many, many people.

I was shocked and sincerely saddened to hear of Janet's sudden passing.  I always enjoyed working with Janet.  Her positive and calm disposition combined with her competence and professionalism made every project we worked on go smoother.  I'm fortunate to have known her and my life is richer because of it.

Bryan and Family,   Steve and I were stunned to hear of Janet's sudden passing.  Just last week we were discussing ideas for a joint birthday celebration.  We have such great memories of summer meals at the house, you both coming to our concerts and going out afterwards, sitting on our patio sharing sangria, cheese and fruit.   We and her buddy Corey will miss her smile, laugh, fun spirit.  We will not be at the memorial because we are leaving on a long planned vacation in the morning but know that we will lift you up in prayer.

Byran, Lindi and I are heartbroken at losing Janet.  We value your friendship and always looked forward to getting together with you.  I would often make a detour to stop by her office to say hi and hope she wasn’t on the phone so we could chat for a few minutes.  Those chats always helped me deal with the insanity of our work.  I hope you know how much she loved you.  Her face would light up every time she talked about you.  We hope that you will find the strength you need to cope with this tragedy.

i remember playing with Janet and Nancy when we grew up in East Cleveland - the big double downstairs with your grandmother up. Going to your dad's restaurant after school is also one of my fondest memories.  I think of those days often and wondered where the two of you had moved. My condolences on your loss. My Uncle Wendell always said that I was successful because of Janet.  He was right.  To the Castellano/Green families - Thank you for taking me in and treating me like family when mine wasn't so close.  Bryan - Thank you for taking care of, and loving Janet these past 16 years.  She was happiest when she was with you.  Thank you for including Keith & I on so many adventures.
