Janet May (Keith) Eastburn

Janet May (Keith) Eastburn, age 79, passed peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020. Janet was born on May 13, 1941 in Jonesboro, Indiana to the late Oscar H. and R. Helen (Royal) Keith. Janet was a 1959 graduate of Fairmount High School, Fairmount, IN and Indiana Business College, Marion, IN. She worked at RCA in Marion, IN, Summitville Elementary Teacher's Aid, Summitville, IN, Summitville Town Treasurer/Secretary and retired from Anderson Community Hospital as a medical secretary. Janet adored her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed tracing her ancestry and was the family historian. Janet cherished her time volunteering, quilting for seniors, and hosting holidays. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her son, David A. Eastburn; sisters, Judith (Keith) Nance and Karen (Keith) Marshall; uncles, John Royal, Derrill Royal, Merril Royal, Lily Keith, William Keith, and Bernard Keith. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years Allen R. Eastburn, whom she married on June 8, 1963; children, Marlin D. (Debbie) Eastburn and Janene B. (Eastburn) Lewis; brothers, Gary (Lorraine) Keith and Roger (Naomi) Keith; grandchildren, Cameron (Jessica) Lewis, Gary Lewis III, Nathanael Lewis, Ross Lewis, Allen (Julie) Eastburn, Shelby Eastburn, Hannah Eastburn, Lindsay (Eastburn) Mace, Derek Eastburn, and Zachary Eastburn; great-grandchildren, Brylee, Noah, Evelyn, Eiven, Oliva, Landon, Rae, McKenzie, Graycee, Jase, and Emerlyn. A service for Janet will be planned at a later time when it is safe to gather together. She will be interred at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, IN.
