Janet Marie Sheidy

Janet Marie Sheidy, 77, of Columbus passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024. She was born on August 17, 1946 in Sheridan, PA to the late Jean (Zimmermann) and Mark Ritzman, Sr. Janet attended Conrad Weiser Jr./Sr. High School in Robesonia, PA and she worked as a dietician at ECC Retirement Village in Myerstown, PA. She moved to Columbus, OH in 2020 to be near her children where she enjoyed going to the Circleville Pumpkin Show and loving on her grand-dogs. Janet loved doing word searches and collecting cardinal mementos. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William L. Sheidy, Sr.; brothers, Mark Ritzman, Jr. and Roy Bowers; sister, Judith Klinger and nephew, James Ritzman. Left to cherish her memory are her son, William L. Sheidy, Jr.; daughter, Erika (Shawn) Mulligan; grandson, Thorn Moss; sister, Dolores (Ray) Hykes; brother, Charles (Cathy) Bowers; nieces and nephews. Arrangements are entrusted to Schoedinger East Columbus, OH.
