Janet F. Slike, age 55, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at Zusman House. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School, class of 1979, graduated University of Kentucky in 1983, active member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, worked at ATandT, Lucent Technologies, WOSU, and Zaner-Bloser, and was also a successful published author. She enjoyed the quieter things in life and was the kindest person most people have ever known. She was deeply loved. Preceded in death by her father, James F. Fischer. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Teel C. Slike; mother, Shirley M. Fischer; sisters; Jamie (John) Salvadore, Barbara (John) Dwors; Beth Fischer; brother, Andrew Fischer; nephews, Nicholas (Sarah) Salvadore, Chad (Pamela) Salvadore; nieces, Michelle (David) Bunch and Kimberly Dwors. Friends may call Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 28 at Bethel International United Methodist Church, 1220 Bethel Rd. Columbus, OH 43220., with Pastor Tom Slack officiating.
