Janet Lucille Vanderveen passed away at home in Westerville Ohio on November 12, 2023 after a long battle with dementia. She was born on October 22, 1936 in Shelby Ohio to George and Virginia Messersmith.
She is survived by daughters Connie Tilton of Westerville OH, Regina (Vaughn) Lucal of New London, Ohio, April (Carl) Evans of Sacramento CA, son Jay (Barbara)Tilton of Boiling Springs PA, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren with one due in December. She is remembered for her love of God and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Margarette, and five brothers George Jr, Richard, Harold, Wayne and Floyd; grandson Aaron Tilton. Celebration of life ceremony to be held at a date yet to be determined.
