Jasper Beth Harris was born on May 7, 1989 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Columbus Academy in 2007 and attended Allegheny College as a Bonner Scholar. After graduating in 2011, Jasper worked for ACLU of Ohio. In 2008, Jasper was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a very aggressive, malignant brain cancer but she continued to live a full and vibrant life. Sadly, Jasper died at 12:13 p.m. on October 9, 2013. She is survived by her parents, Terrance and Felice Harris; sisters, Tasia and Rachel Harris; grandmothers, Louise Blocker and Janette Harris; aunt, Angelique Hernandez; uncle, Duane Harris; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 2956 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, where friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Monday.
