Jean Ellen Evans

Jean Ellen Evans, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018, in Columbus, Ohio. Jean was born on June 23, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth C. and Margaret W. Evans, and her sister, Martha H. Evans. Jean is survived by nephews Evan and Michael Hottman and many other family members and dear friends. Jean was a graduate of Upper Arlington High School and Michigan State University and enjoyed a long career in business, working for Ashland Chemical, InsuranceOhio, Fifth Third Bank and Huntington Bank. She was the house director for Pi Beta Phi sorority at Ohio State University at the time of her death. Jean will be remembered for her warm smile, quick wit and generous personality. Jean was a Past State President of the Ohio State Chapter P.E.O. Sisterhood, a 50 year member of Broad Street Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon and Elder, and a past Trustee of Kiwanis Club of Columbus. A service celebrating her life will be held at Broad Street Presbyterian Church, 760 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43205 on January 27, 2018 at 11:00AM.
