Jean R. Ludwig

Jean R. Ludwig, age 103 of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Jean was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Chauncey and Edna Randall. Also preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Ludwig, son-in-law, Robert W. Holmes, sister, Pat Brown, and nephew, Randy Brown. Jean graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University. A member of Northwest United Methodist Church, Jean was also active in AAUW, Phi Mu Sorority, Monnett Club, Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, and was an honored member of the Childhood League. She was a charming and gracious woman who always put her family first. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Ludwig Holmes; grandchildren, Stanley L. Holmes and Holly E. Holmes; and great grandchildren, Camden Holmes, Rebecka Holmes, and Robert Ludwig Holmes. Memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Northwest United Methodist Church, 5200 Riverside Dr., where visitation will begin at 10 A.M.
