Jeannie was an amazing person.  I always looked forward to visiting with her at family reunions and other events.  She was fun, energetic and beautiful.  I know she will be missed by all.

I loved Jeannie and she loved me.  She's the closest friend I've ever had.  There is no one that will ever replace her.  I had a friend that truly shared joy for my family's sucesses and the impact of our trials and tribulations.  We were there for each other.  I've never enjoyed or appreciated anyone more.  She enriched my life on so many levels. I will miss her forever.  Suse Ann .

...eyes closed . it's myrtle beach again. 
..  the cousins, always together ,on some daring, no adults needed adventure; Jeannie and i next to each other WAY too high up on some tree. 
balancing out on that limb....... through the sky she falls...... then 

 " not one, but TWO broken arms !?" ... 
one just wouldn't have worked.... jeannie always came up with something better.. 
"what's cooler than having two broken arms when you're a kid ! ?"
 never heard of that happenning again, ever,--jeannie owned that one..

Jeannie could read before me,
write script before me,
dance before me, (my introduction to the shimmy)
............and experience high school parties before me,
she had led zeppelin and moody blues albums before me,
my cousin, jean louise

.......and she laughed better than anyone!

she convinced me birth marks were beauty marks,
..and she always called me "robbie"

that reception under the tent !

a sad day brought me back , jeannie and i both a little older,
wanting to get away--my cousin said, "robbie let's go to my house"
we put on a movie , talked a little, and rested ,
waiting for uncle chip

a minute went by,....... (or 50 years,)
a business flight, a chance to visit...

a dinner date with the berg's 
saw jean the bean ....one last time.
we laughed, had dinner, 
together again.

outside,
gradually,
we went back to oakmont, back home,
playing,...................
the shrubs, and grandma's house.

that was a beautiful day.
you were always beautiful to me.

Honestly I can't find the words to tell you how special u were to me and my family. Growing up with you around always was a joy. you made my mother (SuseAnn) so happy everytime you two were together. I thank you for being such a special friend to my parents. They truly loved you and will never ever forget all the times you all shared. As for me...you were ALWAYS there for me. You always stuck up for me when my parents wanted to wring my neck. You always had my back and I thank you for treating me like the daughter you never had. Jeanie....you were such a blessing. You were the most fun person to be around and I can't imagine not ever seeing you again. I have so much to say but its hard to really get it out...it hurts so bad that you are gone. Of course...I have all sorts of regrets...not spending the time I should have with you when you were really feeling sick. I wish I would have sent you more cards and flowers...just so you knew that I was always thinking about you and that i loved you like my second mother. Death is hard to deal with...especially when it's someone as wonderful as you. I just know you are in heaven and that makes me smile. I know you will be there waiting when our time comes to go meet God.I can't wait to see your beautiful smie again. I will never ever forget you and all the times we have had.  I love you Jeanie

I will always remember you in your crisp white linen pant suit....made an entrance to the room and the room just lit up...it was the first time I met you. So full of life,with style always,vivacious, care free, and with an infectious smile and laughter...you were a bundle of joy and energy ....We love you, hate that you left us, and will hold you tight in our memories especially those of vacation in Mexico....I feel lucky to have known you....I hope you are no longer in pain but in your PLBD dancing in the clouds barefoot.

If someone  asked me to list a great childhood memory...Vacations and visits with the Bergs would be right at the top. Being a younger cousin, I idolized and worshiped all the cool things "the girls" did. Of course, Jeannie always had the energy and spunk to make visits and vacations fabulous! Her infectious laugh would start all of us laughing and guarantee a great time. The difference in our heights was always good for a joke, but in my eyes, Jeannie was "bigger than life". She was a force to be reckoned with and someone who I will never, ever forget.  I love you, Jeannie.   Bon

I remember several years ago when I was on a business trip at the Columbus Delphi Plant and stopped to visit Aunt Mary Lou.  As I remember, we went to the local swim club and had lunch outside by the pool.  Cousin Jeannie was there and she was having so much fun with her friends in the pool.  She was just a bundle of energy and excitement on that day and a joy to see.  That is how I will remember my Cousin Jeannie.......James E. Eaton

I will always remember Jeannie's laugh, the times we traveled to Grove City to visit, and the family fun at family reunions.  She will be greatly missed but held in my heart forever.  So sorry for the loss of Jeannie she was a wonderful woman.

To our dear Jeannie and all her family,
     How many vacations did you and your family spend with us all over the country?
We couldn't wait for the "Berg" car to arrive!  What fun, fun times and so many wonderful memories.  When Dick came into your life it was an added bonus.  I'm sure your many adventures overseas were exciting. I guess I will always here your infectious laugh and know that we shared so many good times together. We were fortunate to be
able to attend Brian's graduation from High School and now, also, to know his little girl and boy.  Your life has been full, but not long enough.  We love you and God Bless You.
