Jean Sharp Smith, 93, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Smith; baby daughter; parents, Margaret and Raymond Sharp and brothers, Dr. Jack Sharp and Bill Sharp. Jean is survived by her son, Douglas R. Smith; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Janie Sharp and many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of North Hill High School and The Ohio State University. Jean was a member of Gamma Phi Beta, Mortar Board. She was active in many organizations. She was employed at the House of Fashion for many years. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, OH 43221, where family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.
