Jeannie Lee Phillips

Jeannie Lee Phillips, 64, of Columbus, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 22, 1950 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to the late Ernest and Jean Copeland. She was a 1968 graduate of Northland H.S. Jeannie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Janet Copeland. Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Robert Phillips; children, Brian (Kristina) Smith, Stacey Smith, Ben (Jesse) Smith, and Alex Phillips; grandchildren, Brian, Taylor, Sara, Aiden, Aubrey, and Abby; aunt, Norma Gladwell; and very special friend, Patti Peterson. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where funeral service will be held 10 AM Friday. Interment Violet Twp.
