Jeff DeLancey

Jeffrey A. Delancey, age 48, of Columbus, Ohio passed away June 5, 2015. Jeff was born January 19, 1967 and was a 1985 graduate of Independence High School, where he played on the high school football team. He was employed by Boehringer-Ingelheim. Jeff was passionate about playing guitar and singing and was the lead singer for "Vandal" for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara DeLancey and sister, Pamela Moore. He is survived by his father, Alfred DeLancey Sr.; siblings Jack (Kiki) DeLancey, Alfred (Stori) DeLancey II and Teresa (Dan) Heimann; girlfriend JoAnn Cassell; many special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday, June 9, 2015 and 12-1pm Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where services will be held at 1pm Wednesday; interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
