Jennifer Corinne Hrobuchak

Jennifer Corinne Hrobuchak, 22, of South Euclid, Ohio, formerly of Galena, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born October 4, 1989 in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Galena in 2000. Jennifer was a 2008 graduate of Olentangy High School where she was active in athletics, music, and drama. Jennifer attended Notre Dame College in Cleveland on a lacrosse scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, specializing in Intelligence and Analysis Research. Upon graduation, Jennifer was acknowledged as the Outstanding Student in Intelligence Studies and nominated for the Sister Mary Agnes Bosche Award. While attending Notre Dame, Jennifer was the Vice President of the Student Government, Co-Chair of the Intelligence and Analysis Club, a three year member of the lacrosse team, a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society, and a recipient of multiple Dean’s List and President’s List honors. Jennifer also held internships with the South Euclid and Shaker Heights Police Departments, and received accolades in recognition of her achievements and contributions as an intern with Ohio HIDTA.Jennifer was currently employed by Aldi as a District Manager. Jennifer was always happy and loved life as evidenced by her beautiful smile. She loved shopping with her mother and traveled internationally. She also coached and mentored girls’ lacrosse at Notre Dame Cathedral-Latin High School. Jennifer loved to work out and watch movies. She was just learning to golf and was an avid sports fan. Jennifer will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Alfred C. LaMarca, and John and Mary Hrobuchak. Jennifer will be deeply missed by her loving mother, Corinne (Robert) LaMarca Gasper, Galena, OH; father, Michael (Ira) Hrobuchak, Prescott, AZ; brother, Michael Hrobuchak II, Pahrump, NV; maternal grandmother, Audrey Parsons, Westerville, OH; the love of her life, Grant Dupont, South Euclid, OH; uncle, Marty (Denise) LaMarca, Niagara Falls, NY; uncle, Brock (Kristen) LaMarca, Highland Park, IL; aunt, Jody (Thomas) LaMarca Lowry, Ellicottville, NY; uncle, John (Theresa) Hrobuchak, Beverly Hills Florida, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, dear friends and colleagues. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington, OH. Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be private, Fr. David E. Gwinner of St. Paul Catholic Church, Celebrant.
