Jeremy W. Brockwell, age 71, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, of an acute illness at Doctors Hospital West in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Camden, NJ to Lloyd A. and Evelyn B. Brockwell. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Jeffrey, Jonathan, Joseph, and Joshua and is survived by his 3 sisters, Judy Simcox, Joyce Brockwell, Dr. Janet Brockwell and his former wife, Janet P. Brockwell.
Jeremy was a retired lawyer. He obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from The Ohio State University.. He also served as a Guernsey County commissioner. Jeremy loved cats, particularly his cat Stella. Jeremy loved reading about American History and the function of government. Jeremy was a supporter of 4-H and purchased a number of animals from 4-H kids at the county fair through the years.
An informal celebration of life and memorial service followed by a light lunch will be held at Theo’s Restaurant upstairs in Cambridge, on Saturday July 18, 2026 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite cat (or other pet) shelter.
