Lourdes my prayers are with you and the kids continue to be the strong lady that I have known you to be. Your husbands death is a shock to all of us. Jerry was a dear friend not by word but by deed. Coming out of college and starting in corporate 21 yrs ago Jerry was my friend as well as my teacher. I will never forget the fun we had over the years.

We were shocked and saddened to hear about Jerry's death. We will always remember him with a smile on his face, making jokes and giving good advices, as if he was a big brother.

Sister, Mellie, Jerry and Tyler, I'm so sorry that I won't be able to accompany you guys on the hardest day in your lives. I won't be there physically but I will be in spirit! It is so painful for me as a brother and uncle not to be there with you but know that I feel your pain. I know how much Jerry loved you and his kids and that you guys will always have him in your hearts. I remember Jerry's great sense of humor and the great hospitality which he, Lourdes, and his family shared with us whenever we met.  We have had the pleasure of enjoying several kid birthday parties and other gatherings with them, always affairs with great food and lots of laughter!

Jerry got my attention by having Spanish conversations with friends at Chase.  Me being a Spanish speaking wannabe, I was very impressed with his grasp of the language.  I think he enjoyed telling jokes in Spanish more than English!

I know Jerry was battling pain for some time, but he always seemed to cheer his way through it, much better than I would have!

Our family extends our deep sympathy to Lourdes and the family.

Well, I didn't know Jerry, but I do know his wife Lourdes, and with that,
