Jerry William Hackney, age 68, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on August 30, 2022. He was born on December 28, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Phillip and Ona Hackney. He joins in death his brother Charles Fraley Jr. Jerry is survived by his special companion Georgette Brown; siblings Roy Hackney and Rosa Gabriel; many nieces, nephews and lots of friends. Visitation will be held on Friday Sept. 9, 2022 from 11AM to 1PM with the funeral service starting at 1PM at the Heart & Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.
