Jesse Lee (Lyle) Brodie

Jesse Lee (Lyle) Brodie, age 40, died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 5, 2011. He was born in Naples, FL., on April 10, 1971. Jesse was a long time resident of Whitehall. He graduated from Pickerington High School, class of 1989 and earned his HVAC certification in 2008. His sense of humor, friendly personality and contagious smile earned him a tremendous following of close relatives and friends that loved him dearly. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. Jesse is peacefully with God. He is survived by his sons, Sonny, Chance and Brandon Brodie; mother, Karen J. (Larry) Smith; father, Steven L. Lyle; brothers, James C. Brodie and Matthew Dickens; long time fiancé and friend, Roberta Karver; grandparents, Don and Rosemary Goodwin; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Karver; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. Family will receive friends from 4-6 pm, Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where a Celebration of Jesse’s Life will be held at 6:00 pm, immediately following the calling hours.
