So saddened to read of Jim's passing.  My brothers, Rod and Ron Sharp, and I grew up
with Jim on Kohr Place, as did so many other kids.  Jim ran around with Rod and Ron. They shared so many adventures together....the  stories they could tell! Jim was often at our home, 1587 Kohr Pl.  I always liked his infectious,teasing smile. 
Rod now lives in Idaho; Ron spends winters in Florida; my husband is quite ill
so we could not attend Jim's services.  Our condolences; we keep Jim and good
memories of him in our hearts.

We shared a 60 year friendship with "Jimmy". He made us better people just observing his character and his stoicism. He will be missed and remembered.

My condolences to the family of Jim. I worked with Jim at Preston Trucking. He was a good person. He was always good about helping when you asked for directions on how to get someplace.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of Jim, my condolences to his family. He and I became friends while I worked at Oakland, he would tell me old army stories and give me advice on life. He had an incredible sense of humor that is hard to find. He was a joy. He and I would exchange phone calls as my family and I moved around over these past 5 years. I will deeply miss those conversations. I know he was a good son, I know he loved his family and loved Goose like no other.  Everyone knew Jim and Goose and I think that speaks volume for the kind of man he was.

I had first met Jim and Goose at Oakland nursery.  Even though I didn't know Jim very well, I really enjoyed our talks!  We found out that Goose LOVES marshmallows when he stole one out of my hand one day!  I pray for healing hearts for family and especially for Goose since his best friend is now in a better place.  Jim will truly be missed!!

We live across the street from Jim on Mohican.  He was so sweet and kind. He loved spending time with our kids and dog and enjoyed hanging outside with everyone.  He will be truely missed. We hope you all can find comfort during this difficult time.

When we first moved onto North Broadway 13 years ago I first noticed Jim always out walking his dog rain or shine. Now years later Jim has become a staple in our neighborhood. He would stop by and say hi to us on a regular basis with Goose. Such a sweet, kind, funny man.
I am going to miss our talks! My family already misses you a lot!
