This has been a year of trials, tears, good days, tough days & adjustments.  We miss you & are learning to live without you being with us.  We know you're keeping an eye on us, especially Terri & Courtney.  I'm sure there are times you just shake your head at some of what we do, but that's nothing new!  We'll keep on learning to adjust to the "new normal" what ever that maybe.  Remembering the good times & thankful for the time you had here with us.

My dear Jim,not a day goes bye that I don't think of you and miss you even more.  I long to hear your voice, miss your tender touch and what I would give for one of your hugs and you telling me everything will be ok.  You were taken away so quickly with no reason  and no goodbyes. I'm lucky and thankful for our time together and lots of great memories. The past year has been full of challenges and I struggle daily with the present and how  the future was supposed to be.

My dear Jim,I still can't believe your gone. Today is Easter Sunday and yet another first holiday without you. Christmas came and went  while we were still in shock with no tree and no lights just missing you. I rang in the new year alone no midnight hug or kiss just emptiness.  Your dear daughter was strong and thoughtful enough to send me roses on valentines day just because that's what you would have done .  Today not only will you be greatly missed so will Andy another good man called home way to soon. I hope you were able to hear everything I told you and I want to thank you again for loving me and all the wonderful memories for the last 35 years. I wish that I could send a wonderful memory that embodies your husband, father, son and friend, but he and I might only pass in the hallway and say "Hello." my favorite memory of Jim was everytime i would see he he would rub his head and say "can you do anything with this?" he was always smiling because he knew Courtney daddys little girl had him wrapped and Terri was not only his loving wife but his best friend! i have never seen three people with such a loving bond! im so very sorry for this terrible devastating loss for 2 of my dearest friends I pray that i can help them find peace and comfort in this horrible time i love you girls

Where do I start, you have been a part of our lives for 22 years. We have shared so many memories with the both of you and Jim. It all started with the start of our children and meeting our close friends and babysitter Joyce and Joe. From there we all  rallied together with Courtney, Chad and Chelsea from Dance Center West, to the Packers. , to all the halloween costumes, power rangers, bowling balls!  To all the Friday night dinners and waiting forever so we could all sit together, the fun we had at the strawberry festivals and walking the dog!,  Our bowling league and never winning, but had a great time as we put the kids in the dreaded babysitting room so we could have a drink! Our 15 passenger van trip to Hilton Head and almost drowning in a tidal wave, to the charge of ice for on the rocks with my dad. Going to see A.J. Angelo and our party at the house with A.J. Jim's 40th party where I am still picking confetti out of my carpet and the New Years that I flipped my shoe in the middle of the table, to climbing in the back of the van with the huge balloons that we had  to take home to our children. Seeing Chad, Courtney and Chelsea graduating high school to sharing Courtney's College graduation, and all the other great times we shared.  You and Jim and Courtney were there for our family as we went through the loss of our parents. As we reflect  on these memories there is laughter and tears, but a sense of a deep friendship that can never be broken apart. As your go through the next few days, months and even years be comforted that Jim was a great friend, and  part of our family  and you have our strength to help you through this difficult time . We will always be there for you both. We love you!

Terri and Courtney, I can't say how truly sorry I am.....we are here for anything that you may need in this sad time....Jim was such a blessing to everyone. I always felt comfortable around Jim, from the very beginning of me joining Chris' family he was always so personable and man was he funny! I will miss him picking on Shelby (and me!) He was just an all around great guy and we will miss him so. We love you guys.

Teri & Courtney, There are no words to describe how sorry we are about Jim's passing. I can never explain how much he will be missed! The memories we have with your family, in what seems like a short time, but has been at least 20 years, we will hold in our hearts for the rest of our lives. The weekends we spent at our camp, the weekends we spent with you all, especially when Chase was getting ready to go to OSU, the party's at John & Colleen's, Strawberry Festivals in WV, & the list goes on & on. But the most precious moments of all was just sitting around & shooting the breeze; with no time limits or schedules. Even though we are four hours away, I feel like our boys grew up with Courtney, Chad, & Chelsea. Our connections are limitless! I will miss all the funny emails Jim would send to Mark & I. But most of all I will miss his infectious smile & laugh, his sense of humor, & his hospitable, comfortable, welcoming personality. And I cannot forget the time he kept picking on Mark & stretching out his socks. And while we were busy gathering up all our stuff at your house & saying our goodbyes, Mark was at the front door, lacing up Jim's work shoes backwards. No one even noticed Mark did it. I remember getting a call that following week from Jim. He admitted that was a good one! He was getting ready for work on Monday morning, went to put his shoes on, & there they were, laced up backwards. He advised Mark that he didn't know when, he didn't know where, but he would get Mark back. That he better be guarding his socks & shoes. Every time I think of it, I have to laugh! I would give anything if he would have had the chance to get back at Mark; To continue the game of pranking. We have shared family events through the years, both good & bad; we have celebrated our children's accomplishments & consoled each other when there have been failures. Jim's friendship & love transcends miles & worlds apart, & today there is no difference. I know there are ruff times ahead for you both; painful & sad times. Remember, you can never be separated from those you love that pass on before us, because God leaves us with the memories to hold & love that doesn't pass away. Now is the time that you lean on your family & on your friends, but most of all, on God. He will give you the strength & comfort that no one else can. We are praying that the Lord will comfort you with His peace, surround you with His love, and encourage you with His presence. I know that your faith in God will sustain you, giving you peace today, courage for your tomorrows, & hope in your heart always. You know we loved Jim as well, and we will never forget him! We are all blessed today by knowing him in the past, & for having him in all our lives. Prayers are with you both. Be comforted in knowing that you will see Jim again someday on the other side. 
Until then, rest easy dear friend. Although we will miss you terribly, we know that today there is a great reunion going on in Heaven, & you are free from any sadness, all sickness, all tears, & all pain. As the song goes, "Go rest high on that mountain, Son your work on earth is done, Go to Heaven a shoutin', Love for the Father and the Son."
