

Jimmie G. Wooten, age 63, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 with his family by his side. Jimmie was born on April 10, 1955 in Logan, WV. He attended Central High School and proudly served his country in the US Army. Jimmie volunteered and coached for the Westside Dolphins Boys and Girls Club. He formerly worked for Miller Pipeline. He loved horse racing, softball and shooting pool. But most all of he enjoyed having a good time with his family and friends. Preceded in death by his maw, Catherine Ferrell; mother, Norma Jean Ferrell; father, Clarence Wooten; sister, Rhonda (Wooten) Highfill; uncle, John Ferrell and lifetime friends, Kesley "Skip" Ellis and Teresa Davis. Survived by his wife, Brandy Wooten; son, Jimmie (Amy) Wooten; daughters, Leslie Jean Wooten and Ja'Cee Wooten; step-children, Tiffanie Minnehan, Kelessie White, Savannah White, Jamie (John) Kemper and Richard Rawlins; brother, Joseph (Zoe) Wooten; 25 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; uncle, Melvin Grey; lifelong friends, Genova Wooten, Roslyn (Seel) White; Mike and Joe Colombini, Chris and Phyllis Sparks and Gary Pyles; many nieces, nephews, cousins and family. Family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Monday, March 18, 2019 at HEART AND HOPE FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
