Joan Ferry Pegram passed away suddenly on December 16, 2020. She was 59 years old. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Joan lived in New York State, North Carolina and most recently Grove City, Ohio to be near her grandchildren. She attended Steinert High School in Hamilton, New Jersey. Her passion was caring for animals, especially dogs, including her beloved dog, Ellebe. She was employed as a pet groomer for Sassy Dog Salon in Hilliard and 4 Paws and a Tail in Grove City.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents John P. and Joan C. Ferry, and her grandson Thomas M. Ocasio III. She is survived by her beloved son, Tommy (Greta) Ocasio and grandchildren, Braylin, Connor and Greyson.
Joan is also survived her sister Donna (Fred) Penn, brother James (Catherine) Ferry, brother William (Kim) Ferry, and sister Patricia (Pepper) (Alejandro) Alva and numerous nieces and nephews. A private service will be held for Joan at a later date. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY
