Joan F. Weber

Joan F. Weber, age 76, died unexpectedly October 30, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Joan was born in Baltimore, MD on May 3, 1937, the daughter of Dorothy Vernon (Beek) and Alva Vinton Feete. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl F. “Pete” Weber, Jr. and her daughters Deborah Weber Obici and Robyn Weber Black. Joan is survived by her children Leigh C. Weber of Clarks Summit, PA and Carl F. Weber, III of Oklahoma; her siblings Dorothy F. (George) Peyton of Powell, OH and Richard M. (Helen) Feete of Galax, VA; many nieces and nephews and her beloved friends at Westminster Thurber Community. After retirement, Joan and Pete moved from Philadelphia, PA to their country dream log cabin home “Angels’ Keep” in Jackson, PA. She was a member of the OWLS at Westminster Thurber Community. A celebration of life will be held at 1:30pm, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Westminster Thurber Community, 717 Neil Ave., Columbus, OH 43215 with Chaplain Mark Arni officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to OhioHealth Hospice, 182 E. Broad St. Floor 31, Columbus, OH 43215. Arrangements by Schoedinger Midtown Chapel.
