

Joan A. Weston, age 83, previously of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2016 in Converse, Texas, where she had moved to be near her family. Joan was born September 2, 1932 in Bay Shore, New York to the late Edward and Dorothy (Dittman) Guenther; also preceded in death by her husband Harry Weston and sister, Adele Guenther. She worked for Ohio Telecommunication Association, Ohio Small Local Exchange Communication Association and was a tutor at the Dominican Learning Center. Joan was a member of Church of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. She loved reading mysteries, knitting, and above all spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Brady Burdge; beloved grandchildren, Adrienne Burdge and Elizabeth (Keith) Breiner; special little great-grandson Wendell Breiner; sister, Lois Whalen. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11am Friday, April 15, 2016 at Church of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 5225 Refugee Rd., Columbus, Ohio with inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Fr.
